I research environmental history at Rice University and UNICAMP, completing my PhD dissertation about the Tijuca National Park, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I am currently based in Los Angeles for an internship at the Getty Research Institute, working on digital research initiatives related to Latin America.

Tiju.ca is a collaborative digital archive documenting the socio-environmental history of the Tijuca National Park. The project brings together historical sources curated by researchers, archival institutions, and local communities.
imagineRio is a digital mapping platform that illustrates the social and urban history of Rio de Janeiro, allowing users to write their own spatial narratives.
